all about you

Tell us about before you became a coach.

I began coaching in 2004 through an organization that helped people find their true purpose in the world. I adored my role but left to start a family shortly after I got married in 2006. I spent 8 years as a stay at home mom until I hired a life coach in 2014 and decided to leave my marriage. I grew my self esteem, awareness and self love in that year and knew I wanted to do what she did. I asked her to train me and she did. I graduated in 2017 and started my business helping men and women create better relationships with themselves, their partners and their future partners.

the final straw

What happened in your life to push you to FINALLY become a coach?

Working with a coach who helped me love myself and my life again. I wanted to help others achieve that level of connection to self and be joyful in the world!

I signed up for Lumia in 2020 right before the pandemic because I was missing support in my coaching business. I found an incredible network of coaches and counselors who I can reach out to for shared resources, advice and referrals.

What measurable benefits have you seen as a result of becoming a coach with Lumia?

I have been able to refer clients to other coaches when I'm not the right fit, ask tough questions about a current client when I get stuck, advertise my business and expertise to those who might refer their people to me, and a wholesale gift of more self confidence in the skills I already had coming into Lumia.

personal growth

How have you changed since coach training with Lumia? How has your business changed?

My business exploded the year I enrolled in Lumia. My self esteem flourished and I stopped worrying about "not knowing what I'm doing," I learned a ton about diversity and questions to consider and ask myself and gained a general overall sense of being the best kind of coach when I finished.
