Admissions Coach + Sales Lead

Position Overview

As an Admissions Coach, you will play a crucial role in attracting and enrolling aspiring coaches in Lumia’s life coach training program. Your primary responsibility will be to guide potential students through the admissions process, address their questions, and support them in making informed decisions about their coaching career.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed new student enrollment targets
- Proactively engage with potential students through various communication channels, including: phone calls, emails, texts, Zoom meetings, virtual events and real-time chats.

- Follow up with leads promptly via email and text messages to nurture relationships, answer questions, and facilitate enrollment.

- Provide personalized guidance and support throughout the admissions process, including answering inquiries, addressing fears and concerns, reviewing financing options, and sharing relevant information.

Serve as a trustworthy expert and guide to what Lumia offers
– Clearly articulate the benefits, features, and value of Lumia’s life coach training program.

– Stay up to date with our program offerings, industry trends, current research, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate the unique selling points of our program.

– Understand current market conditions and opportunities, and how to match prospective student interests with the most relevant resources and coaching career pathways.

– Understand the purpose and value of ICF credentialing, and how it may relate to a prospective student’s professional aspirations and needs

Track and document the work in an organized, efficient, and consistent manner
– Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and enrollment progress in our CRM system.

– Collaborate with Lumia’s marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure a seamless transition from marketing to admissions.

– Maintain awareness of Admissions Team key performance indicators, and strive to meet your individual and team goals.

Qualifications

- Lumia life coach training “graduate” of at least Lumia Essentials program or ICF credentialed coach. Alumni of the previous JRNI or SHFT incarnations of the program are also warmly welcomed!

- Previous experience in an admissions, sales, fundraising, or customer service role, preferably in an education or coaching-related field.

- A genuine passion for personal development, with a strong belief in the value of coaching. 

- Experience in sales and negotiation, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse individuals.

- Self-leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with an ability to  prioritize effectively.

- Collegial, nimble and good-humored in a dynamic environment, embracing change and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

Systems & Tech

- Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in using communication tools such as Gmail, Loom, Slack, chat platforms (Intercom), and Zoom. Familiarity with Active Campaign is a plus. 

- Proficient in business systems such as Google Suite (Docs, Slides, and Sheets), Monday.com (project management), and Acuity (scheduling).

Compensation

Type: 1099 Contractor

Pay:
$30 per hour base, plus generous sales commission and performance bonus structure

Hours:
20-30 hrs per week, depending upon sales call volume. Ability to set your own schedule in alignment with team needs. Occasional evening and/or weekend virtual event attendance may be required.
