Position Overview

JRNI Coaching is a coach training program and coaching community focused on helping coaches launch exceptional, one-of-a-kind coaching businesses they love and transform lives, on their terms.

We seek a multi-skilled Director of Enrollment & Admissions to lead our Admissions and Enrollment Departments with kindness, courage, strategy, and action.

This position’s primary focus is to drive enrollment, handle incoming phone and email inquiries, streamline and improve admissions and enrollment processes, develop enrollment goals and strategies -- taking ownership and initiative, doing what it takes to help those interested to become JRNI Coaching students.

You’re an intuitive, skilled communicator, especially on the phone or via email, and dedicated to creative problem solving to ensure that we hit enrollment goals. This is a new role that will be the head of our admissions and enrollment department, driving student enrollment, keeping in contact with new and long-term leads, developing strategies for prospecting and nurturing current incoming leads.

This role is full-time and work-from-home. In addition to taking ownership of the Enrollment Department, you’ll also work closely with Marketing and team leadership to develop strategies to meet internal goals. We’re not your average company — we always make sure our team members have plenty of freedom and flexibility to live their best lives, recharge, and have fun (major perks of working as a remote team!).

The tasks required in this role typically fit into a 9am - 6pm PT or ET schedule (we're very flexible!).Our dream Director of Enrollment & Admissions is open to finding their own rhythm and creating a schedule that serves their life while aligning with the guiding principle of “until the job is done.”  

Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Admissions & Enrollment will be driving student enrollment to hit internal goals, developing strategy, keeping in contact with new and long-term prospects, prospecting and nurturing current incoming leads. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to this role!

This position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills. In addition, our ideal candidate will take initiative, be fearless and compassionate as one of the “faces” of JRNI Coaching that works closely with incoming students.

We’re looking for an experienced and organized self-starter to provide exceptional service to prospective students.

Some of your responsibilities will include… 

  • Developing the structures, processes and resources to meet and exceed student enrollment targets and KPI’s
  • Planning and leading regular meetings to present key metrics and new strategies to leadership
  • Following-up on leads from the Marketing team and other sources
  • Managing, developing and coaching enrollment/admissions team
  • Documenting and improving the admissions cycle for JRNI Coaching
  • Making and receiving phone calls to prospective students who have expressed interest in JRNI to accurately explain program offerings, discuss and advise suitable programs in accordance with the student's interests and career goals
  • Maintaining call calendar and availability
  • Providing excellent customer service through professional, consistent, and effective outreach and engagementMaintaining updated CRM (Pipedrive) and providing enrollment forecasting and daily/weekly activity reports

Skills and Abilities

  • You have prior customer sales, enrollment, admissions or other related experience with a proven track record of success 
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills whether by phone, email or Zoom
  • You’re proficient in lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and opportunity cultivation
  • You use data to make decisions and to help others make decisions. 
  • You’re excellent at project management, time-management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • You’re a leader, able to initiate, implement and explain new processes and systems
  • You thrive in, and encourage, a collaborative environment.
  • You’re self-motivated with the ability to work highly effectively with minimal supervision/remote management
  • You have outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of rapport, responsiveness and integrity.
  • You’re tech savvy and you’re comfortable using a CRM (Pipedrive), Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Project Management Tools (such as Asana or, Slack, Infusionsoft or similar enterprise email software
  • You possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals and desire to see students succeed
