A well-rounded, hands-on, innovative leader with over 20 years training, coaching, and mentoring experience, I co-founded and currently lead the Evolve Coaching Group alongside my wife, Amy. Evolve provides personal and professional coaching services, training, and consulting services to a wide variety of individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations.
Prior to launching Evolve, I served as the Training Director for Superior Energy Services, the 5th largest oilfield services provider in the world. During my tenure there, I designed, built, and led the training team, provided individual and group coaching, and developed and delivered leadership and management training across all levels of management and supervision.
I was also privileged to be part of numerous success stories while serving in various leadership and management roles in the telecommunications industry. I built and led high performing teams in both the marketing and finance groups of AT&T and Sprint. I also served for several years as a trainer, coach, and mentor to both new and experienced police officers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Kansas City areas during in my law enforcement career.
Outside of my professional roles, I served as a volunteer coach and mentor to female student-athletes in their pursuit of a collegiate softball careers. I am very proud to say many of them reached their goals and are playing college softball today.
I hold a BA from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA from Baker University with an emphasis in management and a professional coaching certification through JRNI Coaching, an ICF certified program. Coach, mentor, speaker, writer, I work alongside Amy to empower people and businesses to get out of their own way so they can evolve, connect, and grow!
Amy and I currently reside in Fort Worth, Texas, and I am the proud dad of Jesseca and Jackson, and the proud stepdad of Harper and Spencer. When I'm not out biking or in the gym, I can be found reading, playing guitar, and spending time with my amazing family.
