Trauma-informed, healing-centered, intersectional support and guidance is for those who have experienced trauma and who desire to move from surviving to a place of thriving. We work together from a framework that is sensitive and aware of all trauma. I provide the knowledge, education, and compassion to respond without causing re-traumatization.
Trauma is not about a specific event, but about our experiences, how it shapes our present, and our unconscious and conscious meaning, the lens in how we see the world after what has happened to us, and the definitions of what we find traumatizing for us individually, as well as how it presents in our bodies. Trauma is an injury to every aspect of our being as humxns.
Trauma is chronic and lives in systems and institutions of oppression. Trauma can be the absence of safety, love, trust, belonging, and connection. Trauma can be complex and is individualized as well as contextualized. For this reason, the toolbox you will find at A Thrive Life to be diverse. Your healing will not be linear and trauma recovery is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Your trauma recovery is a journey.
A key component of being trauma-informed and trauma-experienced is an understanding and awareness that humxn beings live on a spectrum. My mission is to give you support and experience what it means to have choice, a voice, and empowerment.

“I love Tracy so much! She is incredibly professional and helped me in my life and career. Because of her, I have been able to get honest with myself and to speak about the fears that have been holding me back. I felt safe and comfortable. Tracy created an environment for me where I could be vulnerable and go to those places that I have been avoiding.” -Sally W.
“Tracy’s incredible. Personable and kind, but very effective and to the point. I was stressed, tired, and angry all the time. Tracy cleared the fog of anxiety and uncertainty that was holding me back in my career and gave me a newly found sense of direction, clarity, and strength. I now work for a Fortune 200 company and a promotion is already in sight.” -Drew B.
“I was struggling finding a better way to communicate my needs and desires to help control my PTSD with my family so they could better understand how they could help support my goals. Tracy’s ability to listen and coax out details so she can re-frame questions that make you look deep inside yourself to answer them is amazing. Tracy was never pushing type of “one-size-fits-all” or “quick-fix” solutions within her sessions. She truly took the time to develop exercises based on your conversations that help you learn about yourself and work to accept who you are now in order to develop a path forward to work on. I now have a better understanding of myself and what I need from relationships with others. How to re-frame conversations to make it easy to discuss difficult topics with family and my boss at work. I am glad I got to work with Tracy and encourage anyone looking for a coach to check her out even for a single session as she will make a meaning full impact in your life!” -Jason B.
