Coaching is a collaborative and supportive client-led effort made through discovery, observation, guidance, and accountability. Evidence-based positive psychology, somatic awareness, and self-healing exercises are used to help you reshape your body’s response, redirect your neural pathways, become aware of your own mind-body connections, and know you are supported. Creative tools including storytelling, visualization, and hands-on projects help you will feel energized and empowered. The use of holistic practices, such as trauma-sensitive mindfulness, meditation and rituals will help you stay grounded and present. Discovery of strengths and what you are doing right help us create practical strategies which will be used for goal setting and accountability. Community resources and relationship building continue the healing process through connection.
I am a Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Life & Relationship Coach and Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur Mentor. I am also a Writer, Designer, and an Advocate for Healing Centered Engagement. I specialize in providing trauma-informed, healing-centered, intersectional support and guidance to those who have experienced trauma who desire to move from surviving to a place of thriving. This means I work from a framework that is sensitive and aware of all traumas and have the knowledge, education, and compassion to respond without causing re-traumatization. For this reason, my toolbox is diverse. Healing is not linear and trauma recovery is not a one-size-fits-all solution. It is a journey from safety and stabilization to reconnection and growth. I am a queer BIPOC. I am a childhood abuse and neglect survivor, a former foster child, and an adoptee. I am a veteran and have known life in the military, both as an active duty soldier and the former wife of a deployed infantryman. I was a single mother, an end-of-life caregiver, and am a sober transitional character in my birth family. I am a domestic violence survivor. I have clinical psychology education, 4 years working in behavioral health as an intern counselor for a regional mental health care facility, an end of life caretaker for the aging, as an apprentice occupational therapist to the developmentally disabled. I also have an 8-year career in agencies, non-profits, colleges, high schools, and major corporations career coaching, life-skills teaching, and peer mentoring.
“I love Tracy so much! She is incredibly professional and helped me in my life and career. Because of her, I have been able to get honest with myself and to speak about the fears that have been holding me back. I felt safe and comfortable. Tracy created an environment for me where I could be vulnerable and go to those places that I have been avoiding.” -Sally W.
“Tracy’s incredible. Personable and kind, but very effective and to the point. I was stressed, tired, and angry all the time. Tracy cleared the fog of anxiety and uncertainty that was holding me back in my career and gave me a newly found sense of direction, clarity, and strength. I now work for a Fortune 200 company and a promotion is already in sight.” -Drew B.
“I was struggling finding a better way to communicate my needs and desires to help control my PTSD with my family so they could better understand how they could help support my goals. Tracy’s ability to listen and coax out details so she can re-frame questions that make you look deep inside yourself to answer them is amazing. Tracy was never pushing type of “one-size-fits-all” or “quick-fix” solutions within her sessions. She truly took the time to develop exercises based on your conversations that help you learn about yourself and work to accept who you are now in order to develop a path forward to work on. I now have a better understanding of myself and what I need from relationships with others. How to re-frame conversations to make it easy to discuss difficult topics with family and my boss at work. I am glad I got to work with Tracy and encourage anyone looking for a coach to check her out even for a single session as she will make a meaning full impact in your life!” -Jason B.
