I believe we all have an inner voice deep inside that knows what’s best for us, but we just need help accessing and trusting it. My transparency and vulnerability, mixed with the ability to ask hard questions, will assist you in trusting yourself on your journey through recovery. I have experienced a lot of pain and suffering, but just as much redemption and growth, so you can be comfortable knowing I have felt the way you are feeling. I’ve been there, and walked through it, so I can help you do the same.
Hi friends! I’m Crystal, and here’s a little bit about me.
First of all, I have fought hard to become the woman I am today. I am in recovery from substance abuse, disordered eating and exercise, C-PTSD, and anxiety. To overcome the trauma I endured in my life, I was forced to look at what was really going on deep inside me… ineffective coping strategies, low self-esteem and self-worth, overwhelming fear of rejection, and a fear of abandonment.
I firmly believe I had to go through what I did to get where I am today. My journey has not been easy, but nothing worth having ever is.
I left my corporate job in 2019 to pursue my passion: recovery coaching to help women find bliss beyond the bottle. I have over 14 years of sobriety so my experience living sober has given me a very large toolbox to use to help others. This experience includes many mistakes, and equally as many successes, but most importantly a true understanding of taking life one day at time.
I made the move to Denver, Colorado last year for the opportunity to immerse myself in the outdoors. I have two Yorkies that constantly make me smile. If I’m not hiking, doing Crossfit or Kundalini yoga, you may find me eating a chocolate chip cookie and watching The Office.
"Crystal has coached me for over 8 years now, and during this time her support has been invaluable. When I first thought I MIGHT want to stop drinking, I reached out to Crystal and she immediately started sharing her personal experiences and offering specific suggestions, which gave me just what I needed most: hope. Through the years her encouragement and love have made my journey easier than I thought possible. She’s living proof of “bliss beyond the bottle” and she’s helped me to find it as well. I will forever be grateful to Crystal for this." -Teresa, Atlanta
