Position Overview 

JRNI Coaching is a coach training program and coaching community focused on helping coaches launch exceptional, one-of-a-kind coaching businesses they love and transform lives, on their terms.

We seek a multi-skilled JRNI Student or Alumni for the role of Part-Time Admissions Coach to support the admissions department and grow new student enrollment. This position’s primary focus is prospective student calls, texts and follow up, handling phone and email inquiries, data entry, and coaching those interested in becoming JRNI students through the admissions process. This role will be directly supporting the Admissions department in meeting enrollment goals and growing new student enrollments, collaborating with the Director of Admissions. 

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills who adores coaching/self improvement, loves their experience in the coaching intensive and wants to share with the world while making a difference in the lives of our students. This position requires strong listening skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage on-going communication with multiple prospective students.

This role is independent contractor, roughly 20 hours a week part-time and fully remote, work-from-home. As an independent contractor, the tasks required in this role fit into whatever schedule works best for you as part of a fully remote team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Our Part-Time Admissions Coach will assist in increasing call volume and student enrollments to hit internal goals, keeping in contact with new and long-term prospects, and prospecting and nurturing current incoming leads. The ability to serve as coach, navigator, and master facilitator in conversations with prospective students along with the ability to accurately speak/answer questions about JRNI’s program offerings are essential to this role. 

This position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Our ideal candidate knows and loves JRNI, has exceptional customer service skills and wants to hold space for those interested in life coaching. We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate, thoughtful, and organized self-starter to provide exceptional service to prospective students.

What you’ll do…

  • Make and receive phone calls to prospective students who have expressed interest in JRNI to accurately explain program offerings, discuss and advise suitable programs in accordance with the student's interests and career goals 
  • Accurately share information about JRNI program offerings to prospective students
  • Ask thought-provoking questions to help students discover if JRNI is the right fit program for the prospect 
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional, consistent, and effective outreach and engagement
  • Maintain call calendar and availability
  • Maintain your own admissions pipeline in CRM (PipeDrive) including data entry and consistent student follow up
  • Assist the admissions team in meeting internal enrollment goals

Skills and Abilities...

  • Student or Graduate of the JRNI Coaching Intensive 
  • Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals and desire to see students succeed
  • Ability to speak to the JRNI experience in a professional, no-pressure setting--provide accurate information about the program in a purposeful manner
  • Exceptional oral or written communication and interpersonal skills-- phone, email, text, zoom
  •  Customer service focus and ability to provide timely student follow up
  • Acute attention to detail-- data entry, manage call calendar availability, student follow up
  • Able to adapt to and learn new systems, changes, and procedures as company grows
  • Understand enrollment goals and go above and beyond to assist in goal accomplishment 
  • Hold space for prospects and help them navigate their journey to find if this is the right fit + program for them
  • Ability to assess whether someone is a good fit for the program and community

Compensation and Hours:

This is a flexible, 20 hour a week, part-time, independent contractor role with the potential to grow into more. Compensation for this will begin at $30 per hour, with bonuses for hitting goals.

We are particularly interested in finding someone with flexible availability to hold space for prospective students on days OR evenings and weekends on a Pacific Time schedule.
